Question for the Nook owners: is there any way to purchase ebooks while traveling abroad if one *doesn't* have a laptop? Can you make the transfer from a web cafe computer or library computer? Or download files from non-B&N ebooksellers via the Nook's web browser?
I think I can purchase from my Droid and move the file that way. I know i can directly download the purchases to my Droid, and theoretically I should be able to zap it over to my Nook via cord or through a public PC. You dont have to have any special software to download and transfer from the site, so there is no reason why, if you had your USB cord you couldn't do it from a net cafe or library PC.
