It works, but not very well... On the other hand, I have been playing with PortableApps and Calibre, and have got mine working quite well. I just haven't uploaded it to PortableApps yet, as I was sorta waiting for v0.8.x before doing so.
Also, I have not yet created an install for it, since I didn't need one.
I have version 7.59 (the current version, I believe) working on my stick, and use a program called DSyncronize to keep it up to date, and to keep my library (on the stick, I never make changes except to what's on my hard drive, then update the stick!) synced...

Assuming Kovid will give me permission to do so, I will make the effort to complete the PortableApps version, with install, and get it made official on PortableApps.com

On the other hand, the only reason I went to that trouble was to have Calibre and the Ebook-Reader work within the PortableApps menu system. If that is NOT something you need or care about, the calibre-portable.bat is MUCH simpler to deal with. It helps to have some experience with Windows batch language, but it really is not necessary, read the file and it is pretty self explanitory.
