I read this when it first came out in DTB and liked it a lot. I would never have known that:

"...Winslow overloads beginning chapters with his hero's personal history rather than pacing the plot with relevant details. Neal is a distant hero whose escapades seem artificially linked."

if the reviewer hadn't just told me so!
