Sure, but Honeycomb is one of the first examples I've seen where Google has publicly admitted (postmortem) they took shortcuts just to "meet schedules".
Android is one of the few products (along with GoogleTV) Google has that has other hardware vendors depending on them to ship their own products-which puts more pressure on Google to ship-as opposed to their in-house stuff, which they have the luxury of developing and iterating at their leisure.
