There was a good Sony ebook shop. Fictionwise was the King. Other sources if nothing helped were available.
I read LRF files only. I cannot stand bad formatting. So, no txt, rtf, docs, pdf.
LRF files with bold, italics and the proper TOC.
Today is not any better, if not worse.
