Long-time reader, new to e-readers
Greetings from central Massachusetts!
I've been a longtime reader of many genres (SF, fantasy, military fiction, military non-fiction, thrillers), and have amassed a nicely-sized library over the past couple of decades and change.
My wife and I each got new Kindle 3 WiFi units this past Christmas, and it's been a nice ride with them so far. Instead of me carting a rucksack full of RPG books with me on Christmas vacation, I loaded up what I could onto the Kindle. I like how it shows the detail of the graphics in a PDF, but I do wish for color and faster loading times.
Anyhow, I'm still using the Kindle, obtaining various eBooks (prefer .azw, .mobi and .prc formats, of course, but I can use Calibre to convert) to read. I love the Kindle since it makes it easier for me to carry books around. Mind you, I still love getting an actual book to read, but now I'll be limiting that to certain authors (after reading the ebook and picking the book up from remainder shelves).
