I don't understand you question. Are you saying new this is an older version of Stanza you need for the old iPod? I have an old 2nd gen iPod with no wifi and I use an app called TouchCopy to copy ebooks to it. With the app you actually see the file system on the iPod and you can drop your book into any folder. You just need to figure out what folder to drop you books into (it depends on the reader app you have.) Just google "TouchCopy"
