I would expect that people like me that purchased a SO Kindle specifically to get the special offers would be pretty upset if Amazon decided to offer them to everyone after stating that these are EXCLUSIVE to this Kindle.
But what would be the difference between a KSO and a regular Kindle that (after a firmware update) has the same advertisements on the screen saver and home pages? I mean, other than the owner of the regular Kindle having paid $25-75 more?

If everyone is required to have the same advertisement screen savers in order to access the special offers, how exactly are KSO owners being treated unfairly?
