Yes, Grandma - microfibre is, well, micro fibre.
I think it's just a marketing ploy i.e." amazing microfibre car-cleaning cloth" ", which is one I've seen!

Just thought - there are also "special lightweight camping towels, easy to carry, pack, & the only towel you'll need" etc.. , so there's another source - tents/camping equipment stores/centres.
I've got a couple, and they're a bit bigger - but because they're "lightweight blah, blah... " for camping/ leisure they're dearer than the kitchen/ car ones .

It's all the same stuff, just a bit thicker, & less lurid colours, far as I can see!
