EDIT: OMG I just had a phone call from my son who wanted me to go check the front yard and my car in the garage. He drove down early this morning, mowed my front lawn, edged it, trimmed roses and left a gift in the garage! I never even went out front today, just out back. I was in the back of the house watching the news and having coffee and never even heard a thing this morning! He didn't want to come in as he wanted to see how long it took me to notice. He was just here yesterday to take me to brunch, so I never expected this. He and his girlfriend couldn't wait any longer and just had to call and tell me to go check. That just qualified as the best surprise Mother's Day gift ever.
What a marvellous gesture, and I am sure that you deserve it.

Now, relax and enjoy.

Cheers
