I try not to mention it every few minutes, but I write fiction and criticism and have had a few books published over the years. Most of my best friends are writers and I co-edit an online literary magazine. For many years, I made my living as a studio musician but published more cerebral offerings in the form of fiction.

Strangely, a few of my poems have been translated into several languages -- mostly because they were included in an early cyberpunk anthology which a lot of academics read. Recently, a professor in Greece presented a paper about them at Aristotle University, which I know because he asked me questions first. I have no idea what his paper actually says.
