Yeeeeees, but how to get at them when they aren't on show is another chapter. Besides 'hello' the conversation is with foot and hand and politely bringing one's hand to the heart and bowing the head a bit. People really don't speak much English/French or German as there a few tourists, I think, so they don't need to.
Yesterday I managed to order a vegetable pizza in Farsi (Persian). Cheese, mais, mushroom, peperoni, lentils. Yeah!
