Hi, You can try these 2 options:
1. Take out the battery, press the on button couple of times, put back the battery and
switch on back. Normally, it works for me.
2. Buy the nokia E71 original battery instead of using the stock tablet battery.
If both unsuccessful, no choice other than use the wall socket to power on. and slot back the battery. Good luck
