swallows and martins are flitting about - the former have been around for over a fortnight.
still frosty each morning, damaging all but 6 of the saplings I planted .... :weeps:
Lilac starting to flower as are the horse chestnut, the ash and the dandelion ....
rosebay willow herb starting to sprout rapidly, but the grass is slow this year - perhaps showing a marked lack of rain ....
