Educator discount for Sony products

It's too bad the Sony educator discount doesn't apply to K-12 educators. I know some elementary and high school teachers who use ereaders in their classrooms, and I'd think Sony wouldn't mind getting into some classrooms as well. I know Sony doesn't focus on its ereaders in particular, but you would think it couldn't hurt much. Apple extends its educator discount to K-12 educators as well.
