You don't get much more inconsistent and contradictory as this...
The point is, creating a system that prevents
the vast majority of people from bothering to break it is
all you need to be successful. It doesn't have to be perfect, nor is its defeat at one point equal to being "doomed to failure." This isn't an all or nothing deal.
