But disposable pens are ridiculously cheap - you can buy 60 bic pens for $5 on Amazon...and nicer retractable pens are something like $10 for 12.

I started wearing shirts with pockets that had a pen slot. That way, is really easy to not lose a pen. Plus when I got a bag for my netbook (which I pretty much carry everywhere), the one I picked out had penloops in it.

That really is a shame. There would be no way I could keep up when writing notes in class if I had to print it all.
