I have a Sony Vaio F series i7 Q740 / 6GB / 1GB VRAM
OEM Alps Pointing-device (Track Pad)
I also use a Logitech M305 wireless mouse (Non-Bluetooth)
No new hardware. Although I do exchange large external drives for video, photo, and audio data. However, all my ebooks are on the local drive.

It is strange. I can read books, view book info, search, advanced search, backup metadata, check db integrity, even combine two formats into single title. However, a single attempt to open preferences or edit metadata and before I even release the mouse click it has "locked up". Therefore I cannot add books or tranfer to device, conversions, plug-boards, etc.

How far back can I safely go before I will have compatability issues with the application and metadata.db and files (Mobi, Epub, PRC, TXT), plugboards, etc. I know some of my work will flat out be lost, but at this point...
