My tech savvy is spotty, even though I work in software development--I am more or less a power user at home. I leave hardware installation to my husband or the work IT department, I can read a manual and follow directions, and there isn't much XML-related I can't do as that is my job. I can do some scripting also and have input into software development but my real expertise is data analysis.
My degree is in English literature
. I'm not a techie in the sense that I'm interested in computers for what they are, but I am interested in what I can make them do for me and I will brush up my skills to the point necessary to make the magic happen.
