Hi everybody. I took delivery of my first e-reader 2 days ago and I am hooked already. I have always been a bookworm and being slightly old fashioned I never thought I would take the leap of discarding trad books for a battery powered one but there you go - progress!

I am grateful to the many established members on this forum whose advice I sought by passively trawling the various threads and whose informative and knowledgeable views finally helped me to go for the Sony PRS 650. I am thrilled with it; it is beautifully made and is easy to use and I am already half way through my first book and am looking forward to downloading many, many more.

I hope to become a very active participant on the forum.
