Thank you again for this. Yes, the real question is how to upload an app to the iPod from Ubuntu/laptop. I'm sure Calibre or Banshee will manage the ebook library - I have a reasonable collection on Ubuntu/Calibre laptop syncing with Sony. It may be possible to get Win/iTunes working under Wine - but haven't researched that yet. Dropbox - do you think that could upload an app as well as epubs?
