As is? Not really. The Barnes and Noble app store is extremely anemic in offerings and what is there is overpriced compared to other places like the Android Marketplace and Amazon App store. Given the way Amazon seems to be coming on like gangbusters with their Android Apps and the rumored tablet in development, I was really kind of surprised to see how underdeveloped the new firmware and App store seems to be.

I'm hoping that a workable root process for the new firmware comes out soon. As of right now my NC is wifi off in order to prevent the update.
