How are you going to do that the 1st time, how are you going to register your device the 1st time, can you explain? And again, inventing things that I did not post. Because I never said to operate.

Yes, when I had my device, I had to create an having a valid account with B&N. And in order to do that, you must enter a credit card. If your credit card is not a USA one, the system will not accept you.
