life + 70 in the u.s. of a.
life + 50 in canada, hence the pd designation.
my guess is the publishers that owned it are milking it for whatever they can until it finally hits pd.
they're the ones benefiting from any sales, plus any school purchases (i'm not sure if it's still read in schools but it was when i was in highschool )
