I mentioned in a post in this thread (at least I think it was this thread) long, long ago that I had tranistioned from coffee, which I drank out of habit, not out of enjoyment, to hot chocolate, which was as a result of reading David Weber's Honor Harrington series and HH's drinking chocolate, which I liked much better than coffee, to green tea. (The chocolate drinking was short-lived, maybe 4-5 months.)

I've been drinking green tea now for what seems forever. I have three primary green teas that I rotate between each morning. The three varieties are Dragon Well, Sencha Kyoto, and Bi Luo Xian. I have become particularly fond of the Sencha Kyoto.

I now even pack the tea along with a carafe when traveling. I also carry with me a small tin that holds 6 tea bags. The 3 teas I named above I buy in losse form (in bulk). For the tea bags, I use The People's Daily Green Tea. I bought a couple of years ago, the Traveler version so that I can carry tea bags with me.

I recently read in one of the magazines I subscribe to, that green tea not only helps you lose weight, and losing a few pounds is something I could use, but actually deters gum disease. Just more incentive to continue drinking the green tea.

I have tried buying green teas from other vendors than the People's Republic of Tea but have found it difficult to find a seller of comparable (in my estimation) quality. For those of you who also enjoy green tea, where do you buy it and what do you buy?
