You are not alone here. I too enjoy the Nook the way it is. I wish the stock Nook would do more, but it does allow one to "enhance" the machine if they want to. That in itself is a good point for the machine. I bought the NC because I wanted to use it to read books and it does that quite well. The additional stuff that it can do with a little help is gravy to me.

This update goes a long way into making the Nook a much better device. Remember, it has only been in existence less than 6 months.
