Wow...I think this is a GREAT idea! Index the price of the book with the demand! Genius!
Look...you're sitting there, a poor indie author with a book to pimp. You price it at 99 cents and people start to buy it. It's good (that almost goes without saying...heck, let's say it's a work of pure genius!) so word spreads and more people want it.
So you start jacking up the price! It's like a stock whose value is rising! Better get it quick because it's only going to get more expensive!
By the time it becomes a bestseller, you're making $14.99 just like the big boys!
