If the website gives you an error message when you click the Add to Library button, you basically have to search for and download the book through the Borders app, which will auto-add it to your library (and an ePub will usually pop up in the library listing a few days later).
Be sure to remove all your credit card/payment info from Borders beforehand, because apparently sometimes they're tricksy and will charge for free books gotten via the app due to some sort of backend glitch.
Also, sometimes when the in-app store listing pops up, it'll have a price attached, which disappears to a "Download" button when you click to see the actual product page. It's another one of Borders' little site glitches.
