Although it won't eliminate piracy altogether (nothing will do that short of no more ebooks) I think they really need to just lower prices. One of my favorite authors is having a book published in Jan, so I thought I would pre-order the book. $14.99... for the ebook version! There's no way that I'm paying that for a ebook. I won't steal her book, obviously, but come on! It's $2 more for the hardback edition.
Also LOL at the "two-minute, unskippable video of a noted author persuading us that book piracy is the moral equivalent of murder" Priceless.
