I don't know about better, but this would be the only way to eliminate piracy:

Swich the internet off, stop the sale of blank media and anything capable of writing to it, poke everyone's eyes out, and fill their ears with cement.

I want a share of the extra $75trillion per year the entertainment industry will be getting when my idea is implemented.
