I find them very desireable. However in the (current) tablet market the defining factor remains the software/app field as you do not have a full OS. And I see Sony heavily limping in that field. Apple has extremely fine tuned their apps with their (low performance) hardware to do something cool, while other concurrents are still trying to do the same. But I really, really (damnn.... reaaaalllllyy) doubt that Sony can do this. On the other hand, hardware is catching up with the tablet factor so perhaps Sony only wants to have a foot in there when it catches up and people drop the fruit for more powerful alternatives.
