Well, a sleeve case to me is a total waste, and I never buy them. What I want is protection when I am using the device, since that is when I am most likely to subject it to damage (by dropping it, etc...). If all I am doing is carrying the Kindle, I can put it in a briefcase compartment or some other bag. Moreover, I much prefer not using the Kindle uncased, since I find I push the page advance buttons much too often by accident. BTW, what do you do if you want to attach a reading light?
