I still make sun tea, but have wondered about those tea makers. I have a friend that freezes her tea in ice cube trays. Then when she wants ice in her tea, it won't dilute the flavor.
Is the basket removable? Would it help to use some kind of tea bag or filter for the loose leaves? Or would that change the flavor?
