And lots agree... thiss has long been the subject of extreme acrimony between ereader users and publishers/retailers... welcome to the world of illogical incompatibilities... But don't forget that when ebooks take over the world, there will be fewer trees... those converted to paper are grown specifically for making paper and when harvested, they are replaced... no need for paper then no need for trees for pulp...

TBH I thought that Waterstones was Adobe and that I would be able to get it to my kindle reasonably easily, without having to break any laws, apparently not.
I am happy that I have paid for my book, I'm not at all into pirating anything and I'm sure that I would infest my pc with all sorts of nasties if I tried.
I just want to put the book that I paid for onto MY kindle and think that if we are to take over the world with ebooks and save all the trees than these things should be a little interchangeable.
Like I say, I'm a noob, and I will look more carefully in the future.
