I took this picture the other day, a couple of blocks from my house. One thing I loved about it was the open sky and the fact that it could have been taken 30 years ago and still looked just like this. In fact, I believe that blocky high-rise building has been there for longer than that. And the trains surely have -- my daddy was an engineer for Southern Railway, and he used to walk up to these same tracks and go to work every morning. I now live near those same tracks, but on the other side.  |
