Need to explain: I read whatever appeals. If it's on a bestseller list that's fine, but I don't need to read the latest and "greatest." Years past, spent waiting for books to be available at the library, got me in that habit.

Now if something sound good and it's at a decent price I'll buy it. The Kindle makes that very easy - and a little too tempting!
