thanks; probably the second option I wouldnt need to reconvert as theyre all mobi anyway). ive found the tick box for structure detection. if i re-send the whole lot to the kindle again, will it overwrite (i hope!) the current mobi books with the metadata, or will it just create duplicates of every book? I have created a few categories too on the kindle, so wonder if i'll lose those too if i re-copy everything over?)
