I'm from Romania. Unfortunately our 'beloved' government took the last year the decision to raise the VAT tax at 24%, so a kindle bought directly from Amazon, plus delivering fees, easily goes to ~$200. That's why I'm considering buying something else, because in this range there seems to be other ereaders, much versatile than kindle.
