the issue is....
I *thought* that the idea was to have a co-operative food buying organization form, start buying the food that way, with the goal of eventually opening a store that was cooperatively owned. when I first got involved with them, I was still traveling for work all of the time and wasn't around for the mission statement part. I have come to realize that they their plan is to spring fully formed onto the public with a store. I don't think that will work. they've been banging the drum for almost 4 years now, with a whopping 205 members
