Agreed. Before I bought a Nook, I considered a Kindle and talked myself out of buying one several times. When the original Nook became available, it offered what I wanted. In the months that I have owned the Nook, I have been very satisfied with it. I don't like the keyboard on the Kindle. I do like the touchscreen on the Nook. I also like the solid feel of the device, the fact that I can change the battery, and the option to increase the memory with a micro-SD card.
