The Kindle DX is definitely the best reader for PDF documents i have tried so far. Books, journal papers... Works perfectly as long as you don't want it to do something it was not meant to do like notes, or highlights.
Besides, the screen size is the biggest of the readers i have tried so a full A4 page is perfectly readable in the DX, something that did not happen with smaller readers.
