I just had a look at the 650 floor model at (which is not, they repeat, not for sale) a Borders store and am more interested in buying one now than I was before. The screen might be the same size as the Kindle's, but the device itself is nearly as small as the 350. I don't know that I'm likely to spend over $225 to pick up an imported 650 on the cusp of Mirasol, but it will be interesting to see whether the States get the new readers and, if so, whether we'll see any remaindered 650s once we do. Three Borders salespeople with whom I've spoken told me they'll be getting more 650s at the end of April, and the person who manages the eReader section at the 2 Penn Plaza store told me the same thing; she owns a 650 herself and was explaining that she had to find her case on Amazon even though she's been in the eReader section since 2010.
