Originally, epub was one of the big factors in my buying decision. I've since learned to strip the drm, so conversion is easy. The other factor was feel. I don't like the way the kindle feels. First of all, it is too light for me. It feels too fragile. The nook feels like it has some substance to it I like that. I also don't like the keyboard on front. I don't take notes in books, nor use the dictionary so it would get little use and I don't think I'd like looking at it the whole time. When it comes time to replace my 3g nook, I'll look at what's out there, but as the field stands today, it would be a wifi nook.
