Kindles are big sellers at our Best Buy, but one salesman I talk with regularly says Nooks are his biggest seller. Especially the Nook Color. Most people I chat with there have never heard of Sony, but all have Kindle. Pity Sony doesn't do a better job of promoting itself. But if they have a hard time keeping up with demand now, would they if they had a bigger market?
So many people call e-readers Kindle. No wonder they tend to buy them.
