Indian Authors Arriving (blog entry)

One of the cool things about BookBarista and the format it provides is the fact that anyone with internet access can check out the site. That means authors (and customers too) from all over the world can visit us… which means you can get more visitors to your ad as well. You, as a poster, may very well get potential customers from just about anywhere!

That brings me to my real reason to post – we have had authors from many places (Europe, New Zealand, etc.) post and now we are getting Indian authors as well. M. Prabhakar Rao of Hyderabad, India has posted two of his eBooks with us. His books, My First Beer! (only $0.99) and Mayhem of the Miserables! (only $1.00) are located for purchase at Smashwords. Pay him a visit

This is another perfect reason why authors should post their work with us and why customers should visit us – to see the various cultures of the world within the pages of books. Books from all over have different perspectives, twists, ways of doing things… it’s a great way to get a fresh story that hasn’t been told before, written by someone who is from beyond our borders. Clearly, books are full of stories, ideas, and notions. Books take us to new places, bring back old memories, and even inspire. And BookBarista hopes to foster that limitless scope by continuing to provide a place where authors can post their work for free.

Thanks for visiting!
