You can only fast-charge the NC with its original charger and cable. Using a different charger or cable will only tickle-charge the NC (so about 4 times slower). Furthermore, if you use the device while on tickle-charge, it will probably discharge the battery as it consumes more than the 500mA of tickle-charge.

The provided charger works for both 110 and 220/240V.
