Quick service and status
I was really impressed with Waterfield and their customer service. They sent me an email the morning after my late night order informing me that they were backordred. This was on Feb 5th. The email asked me if I wanted to wait until the following Tuesday, or cancel my order. I replied that I would wait, and that it was not a problem. I actually got three emails, and the last told me that my case was shipping out Tuesday night via US Postal Priority Mail.
I received it on Wednesday afternoon (I live a few hours east of San Francisco). I've had two days of kicking it around, sliding the Kindle in and out in a variety of places and situations. I find that I am not so paranoid now when removing it from this case as I was with the supplied Amazon case. The case carries well and is not bulky at all. And the biggest plus . . . . it does not look like a purse, or as my wife calls them 'murse'!<LOL>.
I am glad that I went with this one over the Travel case, as that would have been too big for my use, and it most definitely would have looked like a 'murse'. The slip case didn't do anything for me, as I really wanted the padding and protection. Still loving this case.
