My wife will be in Mogilev in 2 days.

I doubt that the regime will change any time soon, unless there is a major disaster. Belarus is growing old. Less and less young people live there. Small birthrate contributes to it. The older generation is pretty much happy with the current one. It gives them some sort of sense of stability. Something their neighbour - Ukraine lacks. They get their pensions that can pay the most essential bills. What else could they ask for? They don't know any better. Some of them are quite patriotic, like my mother in law.

I wish this country all the luck. She needs it.
