this is my preferred one
and this is second
the first one closes with large velcro straps, neither of them have been able to get out of it. the second works *ok*, but both of them have been able to wriggle out to where it is only around their neck. I use one of those leashes that will expand out. some go up to 25 feet I think, 10 is plenty. I run the latch for the leash through the D ring on the harness and actually attach it to the collar. this way you are attached to the cat in 2 different places. introduce the harness slowly, let her hang out in the house wearing it. the first few times you actually go out, have no agenda, if Stella wants to wander, let her wander. if she just wants to roll around on the ground and have a hissy fit, let her. just do not push it. if you do it well, you'll find you can't even touch the harness without her insisting it is time for a walkie!
