Is there any way to get it to run the steps in one process or for it to give a message that says you need to reboot and re-run? The message it gives now is very misleading because the column is empty after running it the first time. Or if it cannot be run in one step, why do you need to restart calibre in order for you to run it the second time??

After telling me there is data in the column, the import does update the data for me without restarting Calibre - on XP. Can you run it in debug mode and look at the bottom of the output? I'll need to test this more in case there are certain conditions that fail.
